Registered with The Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps, we offer a clean vacuum and sweep, using the latest Viper sweeping kit and 2400 watt vaccuum which removed 99.9% of all particles. Black Country Chimney Sweep also uses dust sheets to keep your flooring clean.
If you burn wood or house coal, you should have your chimney swept twice a year, once at the beginning of the heating season and again in the middle.
If you use smokeless fuel, a sweep at the start of the heating season will ensure that you don’t have any birds nests or blockages in your chimney.
To prepare for a chimney sweeps visit, it’s helpful if you can:
- Remove ornaments and other items from your fireplace.
- Ensure that your cats, dogs or any other free roaming pets are not in the room, as soot is harmful to them.
- Don’t light the fire!
- Empty the stove or fireplace of ask and clinkers before we start to save time.
- Have a power socket available for the vacuum.
